| I grew up in West Sussex near the bustling city of Brighton, where I admired the alternative fashion scene. On the weekend I would search the alternative fabric stores and bead shops so I could make my own clothes and jewellery. Fashion has always been one of my passions, on the bus on the way to school I would sketch design ideas. After leaving school I decided fashion was defiantly a career path I wanted to peruse so I went to Chichester College to do a Fashion Design and Textiles BTEC and then onto The University of the West of England, Bristol to do a BA in Fashion where I decided to specialise in fashion illustration and photography. During my time there I experimented with new techniques and media in order to further develop my style of illustration. It was during my third year that I discovered that collage was where my strengths lie. I love the mix between photography, drawing, fabrics, papers and really whatever I can find. I like to play with positioning of the anatomy and repetition. | ![]() |
